EXAM PREPARATION
1) Any pencil cases in exams must be clear - no opaque bags/boxes/containers will be allowed
2) They cannot borrow any items, they must bring their own pens, pencils, erasers, calculators etc.
3) Only water in transparent bottles can be taken to exam desks - no food, no hot drinks from coffee shops etc
4) Obviously no tech devices, but they need to learn where the OFF switch is. Not silent, or dormant/asleep, but OFF completely. This includes pre-programmed prayer calls, which have disrupted exams in the past
5) They can only write on the paper we provide, they cannot bring any notes/books/paper to the exam desk (sounds obvious to us, but different in other countries)
6) They cannot be late - latecomers will not be admitted to the exam and there will be no second opportunity. They will just get no marks for that exam
7) If we suspect any cheating at all, they will get zero for the exam, and there will be no second opportunity.
8) Any need to leave the exam room and they will be accompanied by an invigilator (obviously not right inside the toilet cubicle, but will be accompanied into the bathroom communal areas etc).
9) Photo ID is required for all exams, they must place their INTO student card or other Government issued photo ID card on the exam desk and IDs will be checked (including anyone wearing a veil).
